Liz is currently a dual degree graduate student at Duke University gaining her Masters of Business Administration at the Fuqua School of Business and her Masters of Environmental Management at the Nicholas School of the Environment. The past two summers she interned with an agriculture private equity firm and at Walmart on their Finance and Strategy team for the US food merchandise division. Prior to graduate school Liz worked as a Project Director for The Nature Conservancy California leading water conservation and watershed restoration projects in partnership with farmers and ranchers throughout the State. While in California she also served on the UC Davis Center for Produce Safety Advisory Board and founded a professional group called “Women in Food” comprised of women working in the food industry in the Bay Area. She received her BA in Environmental Studies and Spanish Literature at Dartmouth College. Beyond her passion for food she is an avid skier, fly-fisherwoman and cyclist.
