Andrew Hutson leads the development and implementation of value chain strategies to reduce the impacts of trade and commerce on ecosystems. His current projects include using private sector leverage to craft deforestation-free supply chains in the Amazon and improve the energy efficiency of Chinese factories.

Before joining the Corporate Partnerships Program, Andrew was a strategic research consultant in the operations practice of the Corporate Executive Board in Washington, DC where he helped launch the Manufacturing Leadership Board, a program for senior-most manufacturing executives.

He has also served as a consultant to business and non-profit organizations in both developing and industrialized countries, including Oxfam America, Ford de México, and Industria Nacional de Autopartes (Mexican autoparts industry association). He was named a Graduate Fellow of the American Academy of Political and Social Science in 2006.

Prior to graduate school, he worked as a business process analyst for Accenture and served as a volunteer with the RARE Center for Tropical Conservation in Honduras.
