Ellen Thomas is a doctoral student in the Food Science department. She is originially from Fryburg, Pennsylvania and attended Davidson College, where she received a B.S. in Biology. She received her M.S. in Food Science at NC State in 2012. Ellen's research focuses on restaurant servers' risk communication to consumers surrounding undercooked ground beef.
